Definitely one of the my best trips. The location is magic, next to the lake. Very quiet but close to everything (less than 5min to the grocery), the landscape of the property reminds me some places in south of France. Very inspiring. Charming decoration, very clean, excellent bed, a lot of privacy, and hosts beyond kindness. I recommend
Great hidden retreat! Enjoyed the weekend relaxing in hammocks and easy access to the lake! Evenings outside were perfect! Fire pits and great location to hear live music from a bar across the lake! Much needed getaway! We’ll definitely be back!
Spent my 30th Birthday at The Cove and had such a fun filled weekend! It’s such a beautiful place and we really enjoyed our stay there. Loved that we had access to the lake and went wake surfing the first day, built a bonfire every night and our last day there we went kayaking and hung out at the lake the whole day. Definitely recommend this place for a fun getaway!
The Cove was clean & very quiet. Cute kitchenette with all you’d need, complimentary coffee & cute mugs. Roomy living area, & 2 bedrooms. Comfy bed. Very cute outdoor area to hang out at with lots seating & hammocks too. Rarely saw anyone that was staying there, so we felt alone, but in a good way! We were disappointed to not find the canoes, & Lake Travis was over 50 feet lower than normal. We didn’t know this till we went. The water is a bit of a hike from the property due to the draught. We did see a lotta deer in the area. Convenient to Lake Travis attractions like the Oasis. About 30 min to Austin downtown. We’d stay here again.
Amazing place for a quick get away! Very relaxing! It’s right off the water and plenty of places to relax. We loved all the hammocks! The manager onsite was extremely nice. Room was great! Bed was big and comfortable. Loved the complimentary tacos for breakfast! We will definitely be planning another trip here
We loved our stay here. Close enough to Austin to enjoy the city, but far enough away for peace and quiet. Water was great for a little swim. Overall, very comfortable and relaxing. We would stay here again.
Such a beautiful yard. I could have spent the whole trip just in the yard! The furniture inside was a bit lacking but all the necessities are there. When the heat went out they where so great at getting us an extra heater and solving the issue as quickly as possible.
The Cove BnB is by far our favorite place to stay in Austin!! Right on Lake Travis, quiet and secluded yet close to downtown Austin as well. My kids love the Cove because they very much enjoy the lake as well as the pool that the sister property have to offer. The rooms are quaint and make us feel right at home with the convenience of full kitchens (the ones we've stayed at) and comfortable loving areas and beds!! The swimming pool in the sister property is pretty close to paradise with a fantastic view of Lake Travis. It's clean and well lit so it's very relaxing to come back to after a day at the lake. The Cove has not one but 2 docks, so if you have a boat or jet ski , it's the place to be. The area is very private as the name says, it is almost a private Cove. Overall we give the Cove and sister property a 5 and look forward to returning soon!! We stayed twice this summer and always plan a stay during the Christmas holidays!! Have fun!!
